"Captain Wolf of the Delaware" presented by John Burke

We’ll end our season with a fun and informative program! Historic reenactor and lecturer John Burke has researched and created characterizations of over a dozen Native Americans and historic figures. He offers presentations through Burke’s Living History. John will portray the Lenapi/Delaware Indian known as Captain Wolf who served in the War of 1812 under General William H. Harrison, and lived in his village on Chippewa Lake in Medina County. Woodland Indian life and culture with local historical references are reviewed.
